I’ve known Barry and the Bandry boys for quite a while now, and I can say without a doubt I wish everyone had the talent/coolness ratio they all possess.
So guys, please note, if we are ever in the immdiate vicinity of one another, I demand we drink a bottle of wine and listen to “The Last Broadcast” by the Doves. I think that might magically transport me back to 2003.

Today I’m proud to announce that our short film REMIGRATION for ITVS’ Futurestates Season 2 is live over at the Futurestates website:
In conjunction with the film’s release, I wanted to try my hand at a bit of DIY promotion by offering one lucky tweeter/tumblrer/facebooker a free copy of still photographer David Bornfriend’s handprinted book featuring imagery from the film.
To enter the “contest”, just tweet, tumble or facebook the movie and we’ll track you down with our interweb snooping. Hashtags work best, but don’t worry, we’ll do our best to hunt down each and every post we can find between now and close of business Wednesday.
From Owl and Tiger press:
For Barry Jenkins’ latest film, he called upon fellow O/T owner David Bornfriend to capture unique behind the scene imagery. Edited specially for O/T, the book is as compelling and beautiful as the film itself. 68 pages, full color digital offset, coptic bound, with raw hardcover. Limited edition of 20
Having watched Owl and Tiger co-owners David Bornfriend and Patrick Aguilar hand cut and stitch these things together, I can say with reasonable objectivity how beautiful and moving these images truly are. When I look at them, I see a group of people banding together for a common purpose, captured in the fluid, intimate moments of the making of this film.
Can’t ask for more than that. Thankful David was available to us so we could share these moments of just that.
Now get those hashtags going!
