Claw Cranes Trap The Darndest Kids of the Day: Firefighters were called to rescue a three-year-old who had climbed into a claw machine in search of a toy tiger.
Tyler was shopping with his mother in the Sydney suburb of Greystanes, when he spotted the tiger and asked his mother to buy it. She told the toddler she didn’t have any coins, and so, when her back was turned, Tyler went in after it. “I saw his little feet go up the chute,” his mom told the Parramatta Advertiser.
The fire crew called in from Wentworthville successfully removed Tyler from the teddy picker after 30 minutes. And, yes — he did get to keep the tiger.
